Released in 1994, 'Weathered Well' was Mark Van Hoen's debut
release as Locust.It features dark, emotive moods and is made
entirely from analog synthesizers. 'Weathered Well' will get a
digital re-issue in Feb 2010. |
'In Remembrance Of Times Past" was released in 1994, and is a
colection of Mark Van Hoen's recordings from 1981-1987. It was
issued as a 12" vinyl only, and is now very rare. |
'Aurobindo:Involution' is a collabation between Daren Seymour
(Seefeel, Scala) and Mark Van Hoen. There are no CD's or vinyl
versions available of this 1994 release, but is is available from
Beatport and Itunes as a download. |

'Mettle' is a collaboration between Mark Van Hoen,
Tara Patterson, and Kevin Hector. It dark, brooding
electronic tones anticipate dubstep by some 15 years.

Locust's 'Natural Composite' was made available on vinyl and
CD in 1994. It featured the Locust Peel Session (all but one
track from the session) some new recordings, plus selected
tracks from earlier vinyl-only release 'In Remembrance'. A digital release was made in January 2010, remastered. |
1995's 'Truth Is Born Of Arguments' brought in a revolutionary
departure from Mark Van Hoen's trademark all-analogue style.
It features heavy DSP processing and digital instrumentation,
with distorted, twisted beats and alien melodies. It is available on itunes and Beatport. |

solo project into a collective of musicians and guest vocalists. Available on itunes, Beatport and many other online stores. |
"Last Flowers From The Darkness" was released on Touch
records in 1997. In beautiful packaging, with design by
Jon Wozencroft, the original release is no longer available
It can however be purchased as a download via Beatport or
Itunes. |
'Playing With Time' is regarded by many to be the best and most
consistant album from Mark Van Hoen. Available on itunes, Beatport and elsewhere online. |

2004's 'The Warmth Inside You' is was a return to
Mark Van Hoen's 80's /early 90's analog sound.
